Workplace Change  was created after the owner encountered an extremely toxic work environment. While helping others in the organization work through their trauma and stress, she realized it was more impactful to go upstream to coach leaders towards organizational change and efficacy than manage the aftermath of ineffective leadership. Ms. Summers- McGee realized that by using processes, structure, data and relationships; leaders could create optimal work environments. With her company, she committed herself to helping leaders establish or scale company cultures that accept people for who they are, holds staff accountable for their work, and empowers staff to be the best versions of themselves.

Workplace Change assesses workplace culture, creatively resolves workplace challenges, recruits diverse executives and staff, and helps organizations retain high quality employees in an inclusive, positive, and high functioning work environment. We achieve these outcomes by utilizing data to create systems, those systems lead to behavioral changes overtime, and we train/develop staff and leadership to ensure the changes are sustained. At Workplace Change, data directs the work and relationships ensure it’s sustained.

If you have allowed your company’s culture to creep away from you, it’s not too late to regain control of it. If you feel like your workforce is misaligned given your goals or mission, you are probably correct, and it should be addressed. If you’ve tried with little or no success to recruit and retain a diverse workforce, don’t give up, Workplace Change can help!

TESTIMONIALS

When I took over leadership of Oregon's Early Learning Division, our structure was disjointed, our staffing structure wasn't set up to help us meet our goals, and our staff were completely unclear about roles and responsibilities. Serilda guided my leadership team and I through a six-month restructuring and realignment process and with her leadership we got our structure aligned with what we were working to achieve for children and provided our staff the role-clarity and support they needed to be happy and successful at work. Today we are more productive than ever. We didn't add more people to our team, we're just working more effectively. Serilda was also instrumental in helping the Early Learning Division work toward its goal of building an equity-driven early learning system. She reminded me that until equity and diversity responsibilities are explicitly written into job descriptions, the work isn't real. Today every employee at the ELD has at least one equity related goal and specific equity related responsibilities in their job descriptions. I've never worked with an HR professional who is as mission driven as Serilda is, as strong a coach as Serilda is, or as able to deliver results as Serilda is.
